Family pictures in the Port of Progreso

I bring this pictures that my family took this past weekend. We were feeling the heat for the weather was not very nice. So we decided to go enjoy at the beach. We went to the Progreso Port. A very beautiful place half an hour from Merida, Yucatan and not too far from Cancun. I hope someday you can also visit Progreso is a beautiful place for destination weddings. We had lots of fun. Wedding Photographer | Bridal session Laura

I am very excited to share with you these, beautiful images, that we took last Saturday for this beautiful and charismatic, bride, Laura.

Laura wanted something different to the typical posed and classical, photos, she wanted some truly spectacular pictures. I think communication between the photographer and customer is very important and man, did we had it.

We had some very cool engagement photo ideas for their session before their wedding since she wants to exhibit them in a slide show on their "wedding reception". So, we shot these pictures on some locations close to my studio. I love to travel a lot and shoot weddings out of town, like "destination weddings in Mexico" in the beautiful beaches of "Cancun" or Playa del Carmen, because the locations are very beautiful. Of course you know I can travel anywhere in the world if you want me to be your "destination wedding photographer".

There are many great things to shoot, but I also like the locations we have here in Oxkutzcab, Yucatan, where I am from and where Laura and Josue's wedding is going to be. I also loved how the engagement pictures came out even though, the bride had to take her wedding dress to the cleaners, it was really worth it as she was very impressed with the resulting images.

In every wedding, I try to give everything I can and to really create high-images for my customers.

Wedrockers workshop

I want to share some pictures that I took in a workshop in Monterrey. I was invited by a friend Fer Juaristi also a Wedding Photographer. He has many weddings under his belt in the Riviera Maya, Tulum and Playa del Carmen. We learne a lot and we put forward much of what we already know this workshop was focus in Wedding Photography, Taking such an event is much responsibility which I take seriously. That is why I focus my self in keeping up with preparedess even though I have years of experience. We have to keep with the times like my father said.

It was a pleasure to share knowledge with all the other photographers that attended this workshop. Like it was a pleasure to work with Mine a great model used in the workshop so nice and polite.

Jose photo session

Jose is only a shy of 7 months very hiper baby so young in his life. A very precious and beautiful baby indeed. Many years ago his grandmother hired me to take some pictures of her first grandaughter. She loved them now again she became a grandmother to this beautiful baby and hired me again for another baby session.

Is impressive what a photographer sees, I think that all pictures stay like a memory and stay through out the years. Even though they maybe weddings or baby sessions they will always captured those memories from years to come.

Family Pictures in Lake Tanlum, Tulum Quintana roo

Tulum, Tulum, Tulum, Tulum, Yeaaah!.

I'm back again and bring you this recent pictures, last wendsday I travel to Tulum Quintanaroo, for a family session. I truly had a wonderful time. It took us just a little over 4 hours of travel to reach our destination. Worth every minute, Tulum is so beautiful, the beaches are like no where else. The acient archeology and vision was so wonderful than I did not want to come home.

There are some places that are not even know or have been seen by people that not makes them beautiful to the naked eye. To the eye of a photographer, a wonderful site. This is the case for lake Tanlum. It is located in the outskirst of Tulum far from population and far from any hotel.

This was my scenery for the beautiful family session you will see here.

Taking this shot I had to go in the lake and taking a big step the first thing I saw under my feet was a green snake. You shoul have seen my expression luckly the snake was dead but it did have consequences and had a terrible rash that lasted 4 days

Kenias Sweet Fifteen

It was a great pleasure to have worked with Kenia, a girl with a super personality and very fun to be with. She wanted some photos to show them to her guests, a presentation photo.

Kenia reads a lot of magazines and she had some ideas but he wanted some surprising images so she was looking for a photographer, who could shoot those kinds of pictures. Her uncle knows my dad so he recommended her to me as a Professional Photographer. Well, she didn't doubt to get a consultation with and so we headed to start her photo session.She really loved her photos and also the idea that I was going to upload them to my blog, showing her images to the whole world.

I shoot only a few Quinceañeras, generally I dedicate my work on wedding photography, but I had a lot of fun and felt for a moment like a 15 year old kid. :-)

Arely, Photo Session

Photo session for Emily

Ok, here I am starting my first theme on my first photo blog. I hope that, through this blog, you can begin learning more about my photography, since I will be uploading some of the best images from each photo session, I hope you enjoy them.

I also want to express my gratitude to all my photographer friends that helped me create this blog, which is focused primarily on wedding photography, but also some children photography like this session below.

Emily is my niece and she asked me for a photo session, since I love her too much, I gladly agreed. I shot this pictures out of Oxkutzcab, Yucatan, my hometown. Nearby we have the little known "Grutas de Loltun", these are some beautiful underground caverns. The entire session with my niece was very relaxed and we had a great time. I actually enjoy taking pictures of little kids, we have a lot of fun and it makes me feel like a little kid again, hehe. It is much different than shooting engagement or a wedding photography sessions. I hope you like them.
